A message from our General Manager

Our staff is here ready to help you:
Thank you for choosing Saskatoon City Employees Credit Union as your financial institution.
We’ve been closely monitoring the unprecedented and ever-changing global health crisis. Our thoughts
and well wishes are with those affected by the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

We are committed to being there for you and your families and we will do all we can with our staff to serve your needs to the best of our ability as the situation unfolds. You rely on us for your everyday financial needs and we will continue to provide access to the essential services that you may require throughout this pandemic.
Our services are available to you when you need them most, perhaps though, through different means such as phone, member debit cards, credit cards and digital banking.

We are available to provide face-to-face assistance by appointment only. Our staff safety and our member’s safety are of utmost importance to us and in an effort to minimize the face-to-face meetings we ask that you please contact our office at 306-975-3280 or email us at info@saskatooncity.cu.sk.ca to discuss your needs and better assess your needs in advance of any in office visit.

For your day-to-day banking, you may continue to access your accounts from home, 24/7, using your mobile or online banking. As well, certain transactions can take place through the Credit Union system of ATM’s or the thousands of ABMs from coast-to-coast through INTERAC® or THE EXCHANGE® networks. We have also made temporary arrangements with the City of Saskatoon for our members to use the night deposit box that is located at the main entrance of City Hall to the right of the main doors.
If you choose to use the night deposit please use a plain white envelope and clearly address it to the Saskatoon City Employees Credit Union – for deposit only.

Our office will remain accessible as noted above unless we feel it’s in the best interest of our staff and members to temporarily suspend services.
We will be happy to assist you with solutions over the phone. Our immediate mission is to help our members navigate their financial situations amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you are facing financial challenges as a direct result of COVID-19, please reach out to us so that we can work together to find a solution to suit your needs.
Health and safety is key!
We will be a responsible corporate citizen and closely follow the guidance and recommendations of local, provincial and federal health authorities and help in any way we can to ensure public health.
We have implemented precautions to help keep staff and members safe and taken steps to ensure the health and well-being of our members and staff. To that end, every decision we make and action we take is with the latest and best information available – while ensuring that our measures are adaptable to evolving information. We will make every effort to do what is right by our staff and their families, as well as our members and
their families.

Our staff is responding to the COVID-19 outbreak:
Some of the steps we’ve taken so far include:

  1. Eliminating non-essential business travel, monitoring personal travel and requiring self-isolation
    due to travel or illness.
  2. Increased the intensity of cleaning and installed dispensers of hand sanitizer.
  3. Provided all staff members with information on best hygiene practices that are recommended by public health authorities.
  4. Implemented social distancing measures.
  5. Activated business continuity plans to ensure minimal interruption of service to our members.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we are working our hardest to deliver the standard of service to which you are accustomed and deserve however the channels of delivery may look different as we move forward through this event.
This is an unprecedented situation in our time and we will adapt our responses as directed by the
government and health authorities. Our staff will prioritize time sensitive issues and urgent member requests and will process all requests in a reasonable timeframe.
As this situation evolves we will share information with our members on our websites and/or by email.
I am proud to work with our dedicated staff and – it is in times like these that we can truly see character and strength.
Please take care of yourselves and your loved ones and each other!
We are here to serve and thank you for your support of our Credit Union.
